Allied Dispatch UK is an independent, veteran-led platform covering news and analysis on the UK Armed Forces our allies, and defence more broadly. The focus is simple: clear, straightforward reporting and informed commentary without the noise or sensationalism that often surrounds defence topics.
This site was founded by a former Royal Air Force serviceman with eight years’ experience, working within what is now known as Air and Space Operations. During that time, he also received media training and regularly acted as an RAF spokesperson, speaking to radio and other outlets.
After leaving the RAF, he went on to work as a Press Officer for a national charity, building further experience in dealing with the media, shaping messaging, and communicating complex issues in a way that makes sense to a wider audience.
That combination, operational experience and time spent on the communications side, shapes how Allied Dispatch UK approaches its content: grounded, measured, and focused on getting the facts across clearly.
